A few pictures
Took the new camera out along the Southbank tonight to try a few night shots out. Pretty pleased so far. A few decent ones added to my flickr page. A select few below.

Just back from Wales with Vaughan and Jenx. Really wet and we didn’t manage a ride today, it was just silly weather.
Anyway a few pics are up on the flickr page
Off to Wales tomorrow morning for the weekend with Vaughan and Graham. Hoping to ride Whites Level and the new Energy trail, stay in a local B+B then head over to Brechfa Forest to see what the new trail there is like.
Fingers crossed for good weather. Going to try out the new camera too.

Just picked up a second hand Nikon D70. Started taking a few shots around London Bridge last night. Lots to learn but enjoying it so far.
Going to take a few shots with it at Afan at the weekend.
A quick pic of the new office at work. Still needs some work but it’s getting there. Much brighter than the previous one and loads more space!
Part 3, Paper 4 just going in. 4.30am, just finished. Not sure whether it’s worth going to sleep or not really?
All this just so I can get sued by clients and stick another £3-5 on my salary :-(
Update: Finished work, walked home and snapped my key in the lock! Spent two hours at Waterloo waiting for the first train to Kingston to hand in my assignment. Zombie time. Great fun hanging around with the tramps and the cleaning staff at Waterloo.
The BBC’s technology correspondent has to be one of the worst writers they have. He constantly peddles a load of rubbish about technology and in particular apple [of course]. His son would have had to visit a porn site and enter his password to install this nasty Trojan… durrrr
He even looks annoying :-)
Happy Birthday Nick!
Good to catch up with loads of people last night. A few pics on flickr as usual. Great night apart from leaving my wallet in a taxi! Ace.
Spent a little while reading up about all the underground workings under Box Hill over the weekend around the area where I grew up. I was and still am fascinated by the whole area. A great deal of the old stone mines were converted to MOD use for storage and also a massive Nuclear Bunker. I’ll post up some links to sites about this later.
Some of the mines are still accessible and we used to get tours from the Quarryman’s Arms pub. The best bit of the tour was always coming in to this area called the cathedral! You can see why. The photo isn’t mine and more are available here.
A post on chocolatefoot reminded me of this genius scene from Nathan Barley…
Must watch the DVD again!
