Booze, work and photos
Working late tonight on a deadline after a boozy day yesterday for the office Christmas party. Tomorrow (or today) I’m going to celebrate my 30th. My birthday isn’t til next Tuesday but having a few drinks tomorrow night. I think I’m going to need a lot of sleep and a load of exercise after this week.
Anyway, lots more planned this week and only in work for a few days next week when I’ll be going back to the West Country for Christmas. Off to do some shots of the Heygate early Sunday morning with Aaron too. Only 15 days left on the 365 project which is another plus!
Heygate Estate
I also spent a bit of time wandering around the edge of the Heygate Estate today as the 168 bus was no-where to be seen. It’s completely empty and I guess it’s due to be pulled down soon. I’m thinking of going back with a tripod and trying to record the place before it disappears. Perhaps with the Olympus and a B+W film or maybe the D300 and practice the Architecture shots. Either way I think it would make a great series of images.
It certainly felt odd wandering around it all boarded up and empty. One for next weekend perhaps. Here’s a few images from today though.
