No more PEDR!
Or Log Sheets as they used to be called. I’ve just finished all of mine… Never again do I want to fill another one out in all my life.
So 27 x 3 months = 81 months recorded which is almost 7 years of working!

So for the first time in about 5 years I’d say I actually got my hands dirty and made a model! I spent all weekend in work doing it but actually enjoyed it. I’ve forgotten how fiddly 1:200 models are. I’m sure my fingers were slimmer at uni. Fingers crossed it does the job.
Here’s the aftermath…
Well not quite but a few of my site photos made it to an article on the Building Design website.
No credit but never mind. Fame will have to wait a little longer.
Expert witness lecture today. What I hadn’t expected was having the Construction Act and Statutory Adjudication explained through a play!
Highly entertaining to say the least.
Visit to Kew this morning to have a look at a lift that had been installed in Kew Palace. Very exciting.
Well I guess it’s not usual to talk about finances on here but this month is a bit special. I just finished paying of £14,000 of loans to the good people at HSBC. It’s certainly been painful and I am very very glad it’s all gone. It’s was good experience for me to buckle down and get that done, I feel that I will know how to build business credit better now, when the time comes around for that, I will be ready. The 6 months in Vienna and paying for my Diploma in Architecture was kind of expensive. Quite a weight off my mind and finances too. Fingers crossed I don’t lose my job now.
Last weekend we headed up to Pampisford near Cambridge to see Emma’s Mum. Lots of great food and also plenty of fun to be had with the completely mental dog.
Also headed in to Cambridge on the bus to have a look round and also had a look at the Christ’s Lane development I worked on for two long years at Panter Hudspith. Looks good. Funny seeing it finished after looking at all those drawings for so long.
…for 2008. Finished work yesterday and have got two weeks booked off. No more Microstation, InDesign or Outlook! Looking forward to spending some time back in Bath and getting as much cycling in as possible.
Gav and I are doing the now almost traditional Boxing Day ride at Afan. A lap of Whites level and then back to the top to do the Skyline descent.
Off on a short trip to see St Catherine’s College in Oxford with the office this morning. Should be good and also a nice lunch planned. The trip is courtesy of Fritz Hansen.
