some old pics
Whilst moving some stuff around my hard drive I found a few old pics which I thought were worth uploading. It’s just any old pics which I used as desktop backgrounds. A few below and the rest are here
Imperial War Museum
Took a few night shots on the way home and getting used to the camera. Reading a few pages of the manual helped :-)
Really like the glow on the wet pavement. These shots should be much better than the ones from the Southbank as I used a much lower ISO so there’s less noise in the image. Also used the remote to avoid getting any shake on the tripod.
Dave Gorman
Dave Gorman of ‘are you Dave Gorman’ fame has a flickr page. Turns out he’s a pretty good photographer. Love his billboard poster shots which he works in to real life such as the one below.
A few pictures
Took the new camera out along the Southbank tonight to try a few night shots out. Pretty pleased so far. A few decent ones added to my flickr page. A select few below.

Just picked up a second hand Nikon D70. Started taking a few shots around London Bridge last night. Lots to learn but enjoying it so far.
Going to take a few shots with it at Afan at the weekend.
Graffiti
Started noticing and taking a lot more interest in Graffiti and street art since seeing the film ‘a primer on urban painting’ at the ICA. I’ve created a set on flickr with all the ones I’ve found so far. Some really good ones about if you know where to look.
