Popped out for a bit of a walk this afternoon take a few pics and have a wander. Took the D70, a flash and the wireless triggers to see what I could get. Only took a few shots today and I think these two are the best.
Looking forward to seeing this next weekend hopefully. Was going to go in to town today but there are loads of protest marches on.

I’ve started on my little project I talked about earlier in the year to take a picture every day for 2009. I’m going to upload them to my Flickr account here.
Not sure whether I’ll be able to keep it up but now weequizie has her own camera I’m going to keep my compact camera on me at all times. Hopefully it’ll be a good discipline to keep to and keep me a bit more creative.

To avoid the Christmas TV specials I’ve been uploading some of the better images to my RedBubble account. Will make some thank you cards out of them.
Spent a bit of time mucking around with a cheap mini softbox this evening. Not great but could be quite useful. A few shots uploaded. Need to spend some more time playing around with it. Might get some light stands and a shoot thru umbrella in the new year.
2008 is coming to an end and I’ve been thinking about what 2009 has in store… I also spent a lot of time going through my Flickr images from this year and though about which ones meant the most to me. I grabbed a few and put them in to a set of which I think sums up 2008. Some of these photos are selected because I’m proud of the photo and a purely photographic point of view but others are simply about reminding me of a certain situation or people or events.
